There's no denying it: the University that never stands still is on an upward trajectory unlike any in its history. Less than one year after its public launch, Making History, the campaign that will propel Penn to eminence, is bringing new purpose and possibility to a campus already known for its entrepreneurial spirit and high energy.

The evidence -- in its glorious variety -- is all around us. You see it in our students who joined us by the thousands last October to launch this ambitious campaign and have continued to support it with the ardor that marks almost everything they do. You see it in our alumni and friends who are taking the time to understand our Campaign goals, and through their incredible generosity, are voicing their endorsement and performing that amazing transformation that is Penn's hallmark -- moving ideas into action. And you can see it on our campus, where some of the Campaign's most transformative building and renovation projects are already under way.
